Telemark Lessons @ Snozone Milton Keynes

Tele-Masters started our Uk telemark teaching programme in May 2003 offering lessons, courses and coaching from those first turns right through to clients who are looking towards their telemark instructors qualifications. Snozone offers an ideal teaching environment with a fast turn around consistent slope.

We stock a large selection of telemark boots and skis supplied by Crispi, Rottefella, Solomon and Rossignol. This means that those who want to try telemarking without the expense of buying or renting can do so. Telemark equipment is available free of charge to all Tele-Masters clients.

Telemark Introduction 1hr £30

Are you a skier, snowboarder or cross country skier and looking for a new way to explore your favourite mountains? Have you seen the telemarker, looking so graceful? That is just half the story. Do you want to try it for yourself?

The Tele-Masters one hour Telemark Introduction Lesson is a great first step, which will introduce you to the equipment, show you some parallel techniques, introduce you the telemark stance and the feelings of using both feet on the move.

The Telemark Introduction lesson can be combined with the Early Turner lesson to give a more intensive introduction to telemarking.

Telemark Early Turner 1hr £30, 2hrs £50

Have you achieved a basic telemark stance on the move but still feel a bit wobbly on free-heel equipment when making a telemark turn? Then it is time to move on.

Following on from the one hour Tele-Introduction the Early Turner lesson refines your telemark stance, introduces the telemark turn and then seeks to develop it with the aim of effective basic telemark turns. This lesson is designed to be repeated a number of times with the ultimate goal of linked telemark turns.

Telemark Improver 2hrs £50

Can you make linked telemark turns with equal weighting of both skis and are now looking to refine the effectiveness of your turns? Now it is time to explore the potential of the free-heel equipment and our Telemark Improver lessons will do just that.

We will look at continuing to develop your telemark stance throughout the curve, improving your edging and steering skills to produce greater performance and adaptability in your telemarking. You will be in command of your equipment in a wider range of situations.

As with the Early Turner lessons these lessons can be repeated as many times as you wish and the focus of the lessons will change with you. Eventually your instructor will recommend that you move on to the Performance Clinics.

Telemark Performance Clinics 2hrs £45

It is time to start to push your equipment and skills and these Performance Clinics are designed to do just that and indoor snow facilities are a great place to hone your telemarking.

For intermediate telemarkers right through to budding instructors each session will focus on one single element and explore how it can change our telemarking. Change will happen.

The clinics are open to all intermediate and above all fun is a major element up there with changing performance. The goal of every clinic is for you to leave, not only with a smile on your face, but with new skills and ideas that you can take to the mountains.

The majority of clinics run from 9am on Saturday morning, which ensures as quiet a slope as possible to give maximum telemarking time.

Maximum Class size is 6 (clinics 15) and lesson cost includes equipment and slope time.
