Pre Season Coaching and the 1st Telemark Festival of the Season

Resort

We are based in Fulpmes, in the Stubai Valley, which is one of the nearest ski areas to Innsbruck (20km) and includes the Stubai Glacier, one of the biggest and best in the world. Each day we will head for the glacier and its longer cruising runs, some moguls and pre-season powder.
The scenery in the valley is superb and Fulpmes makes a good quiet spot from which to explore. Over the weekend at the end of our course the valley becomes a mecca for telemarkers with the 1st telemark festival of the season. It’s an ideal opportunity to mix with telemarkers from across Europe and show of your new skills.
The Skiing

Winter action is available all the year round at the Stubaier Glacier. At an altitude of 1750 to 3333 m the mountain is one of the Alps most extensive glacier resorts offering 24 lifts including 11 chairlifts and gondolas. With snow sure conditions in November and a great variety of terrain we have an ideal mountain to run great courses.

The ski-roundabout at the Schaufelspitze connects the sunny slopes at the Gaißkar with the powder runs of Fernau-Ferners. Telemarkers will find unlimited possibilities. Austria's largest glacial ski resort offers us 110 km of slopes for all levels of ability and all of that in the middle of the impressive panorama of the Stubaier Alps.
Accommodation

Our base for the week is the Hotel Alphof*** in the village of Fulpmes 7km down the valley from the Glacier station. A stress free coaching week begins in family atmosphere and with Tiroler cosiness and hospitality. The free ski bus stops directly outside.

The Hotel Restaurant Alphof is a family business and a well established traditional mountain hotel that has everything you could wish for: en-suite rooms, restaurant, a friendly bar and lounge. A great base for the festival weekend.
Getting There

Transfers from Munich (approx 3hrs) are included in the accommodation package timed for the first and last flights from Stanstead. Alternatively you could fly to nearby Innsbruck and arrange your own transport to the hotel.

Tele-Equipment

Bring your own but over the weekend of the festival there is opportunities to test skis.
