Levels: Freeheel Skiing on Red Runs+

Where appropriate we run two or more groups so that you can develop at your own pace without being pushed to fast or held back.

You can telemark around your favourite mountain and want to venture onto steeper terrain and off the marked runs. The Tele-Masters Steeps and Off-Piste course is focused on just that, developing your skills and confidence on progressively steeper slopes and in the wide range of snow conditions we encounter when venturing off-piste as not every day is a powder day.

By starting out 'on-piste' we will look to reinforce your core skills and then challenge and refine them through exploring the mountains. In addition we will also refresh your knowledge of the effective use of avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe to maintain your safety when venturing away from the marked runs.

When travelling off-piste safety is paramount and all course participants must have available an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe with a suitable pack. Tele-Masters do have a stock of these off-piste packs, which can be hired at a cost of £10 per day.

The goal of the course is the development of the knowledge, skills and strategies which will allow you the freedom to take your telemarking wherever on the mountain your heart desires.

With small average class sizes (6 and under) you will receive plenty of individual attention including at least 2 video sessions per week. In certain resorts 2 sessions will be combined to allow us to explore the larger ski areas learn as we go.

In addition to the Off-Piste Adventure Courses we also offer courses focused on Introduction to Off Piste and All Mountain Performance.
