 Resort

Tucked away at the end of the valley which leads up from Mayrhoffen, Hintertux is ringed by steep mountains. As soon as you arrive, your eyes roll skywards as you take in the staggering peak of Hintertux Glacier.

This is the place to be for the best of the 1st and last snow of the season and we offer a holiday with a difference away from the crowds of winter and the chance to relax in the afternoon sun or in the themal bath facilities of Hintertux (included in Hotel costs).



The Skiing

With skiing up to 3,250m, Hintertux offers year-round skiing and the glacier is so good that more World Cup Racers choose to train here than anywhere else in Europe.

As one of the most extensive glaciers in Europe, Hintertux has something for everyone, and is an ideal base for developing your telemark and alpine skills.



Accommodation

We are based in Landersbach in the delightful Pension Alpenrose where guests are treated to a truely hospitable welcome. Guests are catered for on a half board basis with buffet breakfast every morning and 3 course evening meal for 5 nights allowing 2 nights to try a local restaurant. The all rooms have private facilities, and TV. The hotel has its own cosy lounge, bar sauna and solarium. Access to glacier is via the regular shuttle bus (17 min).



Getting There

Arrange your own flights to Munich landing before 1pm on Saturday and departing no earlier than 12:30 the following Sat and our partner will transfer you to your hotel (3 hrs). Alternatively you can hire a car and we will see you there.



Tele-Equipment

Opportunities for hiring telemark equipment are available in Hintertux and Tele-Masters can supply top quality boots and skis at a cost of £100 per week. Packs must be pre-booked prior to departure. Click here for more details



Gravity Snowsports Alpine Performance Courses

This year we are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Gravity Snowsports to offer mixed Telemark and Alpine groups the opportunity of having a great holiday together based in the same hotel. So if you have friends who really want to develop their Alpine Skiing skills then why not bring them along.
