Tele-Masters goal from the outset is to allow as many telemarkers and skiers / boarders who have admired the ‘oldest’ form of skiing from afar. Giving all full access to the sport and the mountain environment through coaching courses and lessons of the highest standard by Richard and some great guest coaches.



Learning is a journey and ought to be fun and Tele-Masters coaching aims to maximise the thrills of the journey. Whether you are a beginner taking their first tentative turns or an experienced telemarker indulging a passion for fresh tracks from a helicopter, then Tele-Masters is your spiritual home.



For the new telemarker, whether from an alpine, cross-country or snowboard background the transition couldn’t be simpler with our regular learn to telemark programme at Xscape Milton Keynes. Through the use of these superb facilities we are able to take a novice to telemark turner in a few hours, which is a massive head start for maximising holiday enjoyment.



Ultimately, there are many reasons why we turn to telemarking as a method of enjoying our time in the mountains, but for most it is the greater freedom of movement and expression. A poor turn can be frustrating in any form, but a good tele-turn is savoured for a long time.



Telemarking is not just about technique, it’s about the mountains as our playground. Tele-Masters coaching philosophy is about maximising enjoyment through active learning.



For those who have not skied with Richard before ‘active learning’ should be a new, and enjoyable experience. In essence we learn by doing. Telemarking is an active sport and the best way of developing is to mimic reality so our coaching is on the move as we explore the mountain environment.
